Binati jana is a song written by the mystic saint poet Surdas from the Bhakti Movement. My Guru Sri Ramamoorthy Rao taught me this song in Raag Bhimplas.

Binati jana kaasu kare gosaayi
tum bin deenadayaalu nahi hari
devatana pheeki thakuraayi

Apne se kar charana naina mukha
apni se buddhi bhaayi
kaala karama bas phirata sakala prabhu
tehi hamaari naayi

Paraadina para badana nihaarata
maanata mohe baddaayi
deva sakala vyaapaara nirata nita
jyo pasu doodha charaayi

Tum bin aurana koun krupaanidhi
paabai pir paraayi
surdaas ke traas harana ko
krishna naam prabhu taayi

How can we request you oh shepard,
as there is nobody merciful as you.

You gave me my limbs, eyes, face
and knowledge
Time and Karma also came through you
Nobody is there to me other you

I was depending on somebody,
but i accept now, that you brought me up
In between all the work you have,
you have also been stealing milk

There is no one as forgiving and just as you
I don't need to depend on others
Surdas's suffering goes away
with just the chanting of Krishna's name
